Testimonials

I am a thirty-year-old who has been playing and teaching tennis for most of my life. As the Director of Tennis for Cleveland Country Club, the functional ability of my shoulders is essential to my career. Following shoulder surgery in March of 2006, I was referred to Don Miller and CPTA. I expressed concern about the impact of the surgery on my ability to play and teach tennis. Upon meeting Dr. Miller, I was given a tour of the facility and was introduced to his staff.

Following a thorough examination of my shoulder girdle and neck, Dr. Miller explained my condition and what it would take to get me back to tennis. A treatment program was outlined and implemented to achieve this goal. Throughout the rehabilitation process, the purpose of the hands-on techniques and exercises were explained. In addition to my treatments at the clinic, I was taught what I needed to do to take care of my shoulder at home and after the rehab process was completed. My program was constantly monitored and updated as I made progress.

Now, almost a year after the operation, I am very pleased with the care I received at CPTA. My shoulder is almost 100 percent and I am able to play and teach completely unaware of the operation. The staff was exceptionally professional, polite and caring. Without their help, there is no way I could have continued with my career.

(Excerpts from a patient's letter dated February 27, 2007)

Today, I will finish almost five months of treatment at your fine facility... Early in October of 2006, I took a serious fall and damaged my shoulder. I had broken bones and damaged tendons requiring surgery. Dr. Patrick Hayes operated on me and sent me to you for treatment. In my initial visit, I was so distressed that I dreaded anyone even looking at my shoulder, much less twisting it and stretching it.

Krista Frazier obviously knew of my apprehension and instead of causing pain and agony, this young woman gently moved my arm and shoulder and plied it with ointment of some kind... As weeks went by, Krista monitored my chart, noting the limits of motion and my progress. She added exercises and directed (her assistant) David to hold me to them. Krista was concerned with my discomfort, my nervousness, and my lack of confidence in my own ability to recover.

God blessed me with the healing hands, the charming countenance, and the soothing voice of Krista Frazier. She is indeed a professional and your practice is fortunate to have her.

I want to thank Don Miller and his staff for the professional manner in which they have helped me get the use of my leg back after a total knee replacement. I am impressed with the attitude of those who work with the host of patients with a very caring attitude. There is a pleasant atmosphere in which each worker is constantly showing a friendly disposition. One thing that I noticed right off was that they call you by your name as if you are a personal friend. When one of the workers is not with a patient he or she is doing the laundry, folding towels, or lending a helping hand to whomever needs it.

I particularly liked that they were interested in the spiritual welfare of others. They were praying for and with the patients as needed. When my sessions were finished, I felt uplifted to face the rest of the day. I have been and will continue to recommend this center to friends and acquaintances.

Sincerely in the name of Jesus Christ,
Ann Owensby
